1

Identify Which Service Is Due

CHECK

Note what the PZ410 Alarm Screen shows: Service Schedule A, Service Schedule B, or Battery Maint Due. Each has different tasks.

Service A (Annual / ~100 hours): oil and filter change, air filter inspect/replace, battery check, spark plug inspection, visual overall. Service B (2-Year / 200 hours): all Service A items PLUS spark plug replacement, fuel filter replacement, coolant check, drive belt inspection, full load test, harness connector inspection. Battery Maint Due: battery load test, charger verification, terminal cleaning — replace if over 4 years old.

Complete Service Tasks

ACTION

Key service tasks for XG series with PZ410: oil and filter change, air filter replacement, spark plug inspection/replacement, coolant level and condition check, drive belt inspection, battery voltage and load test, all harness connector cleaning and reseating.

Use the PZ410 Engine Screen and Power Screen during post-service load testing to confirm all readings are within normal range. Log the service in the PZ410 Maintenance Log section (Info Screen).
4

Reset Service Interval Counter (IASD Required)

RESET

After service is complete, the maintenance interval counter in the PZ410 must be reset. This requires dealer credentials (Dealer Screen access).

A&A Power Generators technicians have IASD credentials and will reset the counter through the Dealer Screen during every service visit. This clears the maintenance reminder and restarts the interval clock accurately.

After reset

Did the code clear?

Yes — code cleared

The code cleared and the unit returned to standby. Log the incident, confirm ready-to-run status, and monitor the next exercise cycle.

No — code returned

If the code returns immediately, stop resetting and move into service. The issue likely needs inspection of wiring, switches, or a controller-level component.
