  4. Introducing: A New Addition to the Generac Family

    Great news: the all-new Generac 48kW Liquid-Cooled Standby Generator has arrived! This new and improved model features the best-in-class 4.5L engine designed and built by Generac.

    The 48kW represents a revamp of Generac’s liquid-cooled lineup. Generac remains one of the few manufacturers in the United States to design and produce a complete generator, which includes its engine, alternator, fuel system, controller and enclosure.

    The 4.5L purpose-built engine of the 48kW has been reinvented entirely. It makes use of a dual-valve ultra-low pressure fuel delivery system and smart proprietary engine controls capable of managing more than 100 performance functions for optimum efficiency regardless of elevation and temperature range.

    Customers should be aware the new 48kW is six inches longer than previous models. It features a new GenPad and the stub-ups have been modified. Furthermore, the fuel inlet has received an upgrade to 1 ¼” NPT female tee.
